Chris Bae

Founder & CEO

Chris co-founded EDG after a career in both Sell- and Buy-Side finance.  Before EDG, Chris was  a Management and Investment Committee member of UBS’s +$40B alternative investment group. There, Chris served as a fiduciary to global clients. Chris began his career at Goldman Sachs where he rose to Managing Director. He led currency options and equity derivative trading desks at Goldman Sachs before leading global trading teams for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Chris has held leadership roles in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and New York and is a graduate from M.I.T. where he has guest lectured in options theory and fintech.

Leland Hensch

President + Chairman of the Board

Leland co-founded EDG after a career in derivative trading and private equity. Leland was a Partner at Goldman Sachs, where he was Head of Macro Equity Derivative and Americas Equity trading. Post his sell-side career, Leland was a General Partner and CEO of private equity firm, Subversive Capital.  There, he successfully raised and closed a $575mm SPAC, the largest transaction in his industry focus.  Leland has held leadership roles in London, New York, and Frankfurt and is a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Chetan Sennik

Head of Trading

Chetan co-founded EDG, based in London and serves as Head of Trading for Enhanced Digital Group. Prior to EDG, Chet was a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. There, Chet was Head of Currency Options and Head of Americas Currency Trading. Chet joined BoAML as Head of Exotic Options Trading having held a similar role at Credit Suisse in London. He has held leadership roles in London and New York and is a graduate from the University of Bristol.

Una Fogarty

Global Head of Business Development

Una joins EDG to lead business development leveraging her background in both sales management and private investing. Una spent much of her career at Goldman Sachs where she was a Managing Director and oversaw foreign exchange and interest rate sales teams.  Responsible for asset managers, corporations and governments, Una structured and executed complex derivative transactions in multiple asset classes.  More recently, Una founded a private real estate investment company that developed properties in the NYC metropolitan region. Una graduated from Kenyon College and has an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  

Marcin Maksymiuk

Quantitative Developer

Marcin’s career as software developer and quantitative developer spans across video game industry, telecoms, investment banks and asset management firms. His transition from telecom industry – Nokia - to finance happened in 2010 when he started at Goldman Sachs as senior software developer and later at Investec in London, UK. He also led technology front office teams at Bank of America until 2019. That year Marcin started as senior quantitative developer at T Rowe Price, designing and implementing systematic research and investment strategies in fixed income space. Marcin’s adventure with digital assets started in 2017, where he researched and presented underpinning of blockchain technology and its opportunities to number of investment banks. His passion for building ecosystem around digital assets accelerated when he joined Enhanced Digital Group (EDG) in 2022. He studied Applied Computer Science and graduated, with honours, from Państwowa Szkoła Wyższa in Biała Podlaska, Poland in 2005.

Pete Ciafone

CFO & Head of Operations

Pete currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations for Enhanced Digital Group. Prior to joining EDG, he spent twelve years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch within the Global Equities and CFO organizations. In his most recent role, he was responsible for balance sheet optimization and client analytics for the Equities division. Prior to Bank of America, Pete worked in the finance and valuation group at Highbridge Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund that was acquired by J.P. Morgan. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in Finance and Operations roles. Pete graduated from Villanova University with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems and is a Certified Public Account

Meg Vaden

Chief Legal Officer

Meg currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Enhanced Digital Group. Prior to joining EDG, she spent seventeen years at Goldman Sachs where she was most recently Managing Director, Senior Counsel covering the Global Markets Division. In her most recent role, she was responsible for various aspects of the fixed income derivatives business and well as margin rules and other regulatory implementation projects. Prior to Goldman Sachs, she was a project finance associate at Skadden, Arps in New York. Meg is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Princeton University.

Luigi Ambrosi

Executive Director EMEA Sales

Luigi started his career as a Quantitative Trader for the Chicago based prop-shop TransMarket Group, focusing on fixed-income systematic relative value arbitrage strategies. He then moved to Goldman Sachs in London where he spent four years as a Volatility & Correlation Exotic Equity Structurer. He is a graduate in Financial Engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.

Paul Baron

Advisor

Paul Baron is the former Head of Americas Equity Derivative Flow Sales at Bank of America Securities. In this role he was responsible for the distribution of equity derivative products and solutions for the Americas region to global clients. Paul joined BofA in July 2012, working in London as the Head of EMEA Equity Derivative Sales. Prior to joining BofA, Paul ran Hedge Fund Sales and Synthetic Equity Sales in the Americas at Deutsche Bank. Paul’s 20 plus years of experience in markets has spanned industry leaders: BofA, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs; providing coverage and solutions to institutional clients in equity products.

Paul moved from the institutional side of finance to the private sector. He currently manages his own consulting firm providing individualized services for family office clients. His company specializes in bringing a solutions based approach to portfolio construction.

Paul holds a BS from State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

George Livingston

Advisor

George Livingston’s career in the financial services industry has spanned 34 years with senior management roles at both Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase. George’s tenure at Bank of America included 14 years as a Managing Director in the Global Markets division overseeing the firm’s most important institutional client relationships. From 2013-2019 George was Co-Head of the Global Senior Relationship Management team covering the largest Global Markets clients.  He joined Bank of America in 2005 as Head of West Coast Institutional Debt and Equity Sales, and Co-Head of Financial Institutions Client Management.  Prior to joining BAML, George spent 13 years at JP Morgan Chase where he was the Head of West Coast Institutional Sales and a member of JPM’s West Coast Operating Committee. George earned a BA degree in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley in 1983 and a Graduate Diploma in Politics and Economics from Oriel College, Oxford University in 1986.  George currently serves on the advisory board of Enhanced Digital Group (EDG), a crypto derivatives company founded in 2021.  He previously served on the advisory board of StreetLinx inc., a financial technology company from September 2019 until August 2021 when the company was acquired by Symphony Communications Services LLC.  

Tahreem Kampton

Advisor

Tahreem has over 22 years of experience as a finance professional at Microsoft most recently serving as their Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer. In that role, he oversaw $140B portfolio, managed all the Company’s cashflow, liquidity and fx needs and drove Microsoft’s investment efforts in sustainability, affordable housing and racial equity. Tahreem has been a member of the NY Fed FX Committee, Board member of FXPA and the Board of the Economist. In addition to being an advisor for Enhanced Digital Group, he currently sits on the Board of the Pacific Whale Foundation, is an advisor to Finlync, a fintech, and Chainlink, a crypto firm. He studied Finance and Real Estate at Penn State University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
